CHILDREN'S CLASSES

KINDERGYM

KinderGym is a great way to introduce your infant, toddler or preschooler to a range of movements and develop their coordination, balance, and physical prowess.

Classes run for 45minutes and include a variety of hand apparatus, tumbling and balance skills, and social activities such as music and games.

KinderGym is a parent-assisted class – each child is required to be accompanied by an adult who will participate and assist the child throughout the class.

GYMNASTICS
& TUMBLING

GYMNASTICS CLASSES include floor, beam, vault and bars, and teach recreational level skills to beginner and intermediate level gymnasts.

Beginner Gymnastics 5-8yo – Friday 4.00pm-5.00pm
Beginner Gymnastics 5-11yo – Sunday 9.00am-10.00am
Boys Gymnastics 5-11yo – Friday 5.00pm-6.00pm
Intermediate Gymnastics 5-11yo – Friday 4.45pm-6.00pm

TUMBLING CLASSES include all floor elements of gymnastics, including jumps, turns and tumbling. In the beginner classes, students will learn rolls, handstands, cartwheels and walkovers. Advanced students will begin to learn handsprings and saltos.

Tumble 8-18yo – Saturday 5.00-6.00pm

CHEERLEADING

Cheerleading is Australia’s fastest growing team sport. It combines tumbling, jumps, stunting (lifting and throwing) and dance in a fast-paced routine set to upbeat music.

Team levels will be set based on athlete capabilities.

The mini team trains 1x per week for 1hr. The youth team (KUNAI) trains 1x per week for 2hrs. The teen team (KATANA) will train 1x per week for 2hrs.

Mini Cheer 3-6yo – Sunday 9.00am-10.00am

Youth Cheer 5-12yo – Friday 6.00pm-8.00pm

Teen Cheer 11-18yo – Friday 6.00pm-8.00pm

ADULT CLASSES

CHEER FIT

CheerFIT is a new fitness class utilising cheerleading elements. The class will consist of cheer aerobics set to music, including flexibility and strength training.

CheerFIT is a 45min class. Casual entry is $15 per class. Term discounts apply.

The aim of this class is to provide a boost in fitness for the women of our community, and participants will also be invited to join the facebook group where mid-week workouts and tutorials will be available to keep everyone motivated and active.

CheerFIT – Sunday 8.15am.

Additional mid-week day times will be made available upon request.

HANDSTANDS
STRENGTH&FLEX

Handstands are an amazing life skill and all body workout. We encourage all adults to come and learn or perfect their handstands with us. You will improve upper body and core strength, increase your flexibility and balance, and many more benefits!  Alongside our handstand class, we run a strength and flexibility intensive class every Sunday that will complement any sports or fitness training. This is a not for profit program and is designed to adaptable and accessible to all ability levels.

Classes run for 1 hour each, and bookings required by the term. Cost is just $55 for term 1 per class, or $100 for both combined.

Handstands (18+) – Friday 8.00pm-9.00pm

Strength & Flex (18+) – Sunday 6.00-7.00pm

Additional classes will run with sufficient interest

CHEERLEADING

Cheerleading is Australia’s fastest growing team sport. It combines tumbling, jumps, stunting (lifting and throwing) and dance in a fast-paced routine set to upbeat music.

We are aiming to run OPEN LEVEL 3 NON-TUMBLE in 2020. But all athletes are welcome to join and a place will be found for everyone.

The adult team will train 2x per week for 3.5hrs total.

Adult Cheer (TANTO) – Tuesday 8.30pm-10.00pm & Saturday 6.00pm-8.00pm

Additional teams/training times may be added if sufficient interest.
